The final phase of the CMI acquisition is complete
In late 2015 we announced the RL360° Group’s acquisition of CMI Insurance Company Ltd from Lloyds Banking Group (“Lloyds”). We also detailed our plans to transfer the International Life Division (“ILD”) policies over from Lloyds in due course.
We have now completed the final phase of the acquisition, and so – with the necessary regulatory approvals in the Isle of Man and Hong Kong in place – have transferred the 4,600 ILD policies to RL360° Services (formerly CMI).
This takes the number of RL360° Group policyholders to 70,000 and increasing funds under management to £8bn.
Our ILD policyholders do not need to take any action as a result of the transfer unless they make electronic payments into their policy other than Direct Debit, in which case they will be contacted with new instructions. There have been no changes made to the benefits, features or terms and conditions of their policy and their policy number and all other details remain the same.
There will be no changes to the way the ILD policies are serviced. RL360° Services has been carrying out this work on behalf of Lloyds since 2015 and will continue to do so.
